For more than 25 years, ShowOffs Body Art has helped artists around the world create unforgettable experiences through professional face and body art.
Founded in 1998 by artist, educator, and product developer Donna Nowak, ShowOffs began as a small family business rooted in temporary tattoos, face painting, education, and a love of creative problem-solving. What started at local festivals and industry conventions has grown into an international company serving professional artists, entertainers, haunted attractions, theme parks, photographers, and special-effects professionals.
ShowOffs is the home of ProAiir® Professional Body/FX Makeup, including our internationally recognized Hybrid Makeup and Temporary Tattoo Ink. ProAiir products are known for vibrant color, exceptional durability, professional performance, and the ability to help artists work with confidence in demanding environments.
Although our products are used around the world, ShowOffs remains a family-owned business based in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. The people who develop our products are the same people who answer questions, create tutorials, attend conventions, prepare orders, and help customers find the right solutions.

Donna Nowak
Founder, Artist, Educator & Product Developer
Donna’s journey began at a local elementary school festival, where she brought a pair of airbrushes and homemade stencils to create temporary tattoos. The enthusiastic response sparked a passion that soon led her into the broader worlds of face painting, body art, education, and product development.
Through years of conventions, classes, competitions, and professional events, Donna became known for practical techniques and inventive tools that made artists’ work faster and easier. Her creative problem-solving earned her the nickname “Miss Tool Time” and led to products such as StencilEyes, Profiles, and QuickEZ.
Donna’s most influential achievement is the creation of ProAiir, a professional line of durable Hybrid Makeup and Temporary Tattoo Ink now used by artists around the world. Her experience has taken her from school festivals to major events, including the NFL Super Bowl Experience, MLB World Series activities, and international work in China.
Her greatest satisfaction still comes from helping artists discover new techniques, build successful businesses, and turn their creativity into memorable experiences.
Erika Nowak
Marketing, Education & Product Development
Erika grew up immersed in the world of ShowOffs, appearing in early videos and tutorials as Donna’s young assistant. Today, she brings that lifelong experience to her work as an educator, content creator, product developer, and one of the company’s most familiar customer-facing team members.
Erika manages social media, creates educational videos, helps develop new products, and contributes fresh designs to the popular StencilEyes line. With a bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations, she combines creativity with a natural ability to communicate, teach, and connect with artists.
Customers may recognize Erika as the friendly voice on the phone or from conventions, where she enjoys sharing ideas, demonstrating products, and helping artists discover something new.
Bruce Nowak
Operations, Technology & Business Development
Bruce joined ShowOffs in 2015 after stepping away from corporate America. He works largely behind the scenes, overseeing technology, online operations, inventory planning, business systems, equipment projects, and the many practical details required to keep a growing company running smoothly.
His role extends well beyond technology. Bruce assists with product development, purchasing, fulfillment, conventions, financial planning, and nearly any project that requires research, organization, or troubleshooting.
Convention visitors may also encounter Bruce in a less recognizable form. He occasionally appears in costume as one of his alter egos—including Kratos—proving that even the operations department can become part of the show.
Brock Nowak
Operations & Business Systems
Brock represents the next generation of ShowOffs leadership. He manages order processing, bookkeeping, fulfillment, and a growing collection of operational systems that help the company work more efficiently.
With strong technical instincts and a practical approach to problem-solving, Brock is often the person quietly improving a process, organizing information, or finding a better way to accomplish a task. His work helps ensure that orders move accurately and efficiently from the website to the customer.
Although much of his work happens behind the scenes, Brock also joins the team at conventions, where customers can see the same energy and ShowOffs spirit he brings to daily operations.
Karina
Production, Packaging & Fulfillment
Karina plays an essential role in preparing ShowOffs and ProAiir products for customers. She assists with inventory organization, product labeling, packaging, kit assembly, and the detailed production work required to keep shelves stocked and orders moving.
Her care, consistency, and strong work ethic help ensure that products are assembled and packaged accurately. She brings warmth and kindness to the workplace and is always willing to support the team wherever help is needed.
Outside of ShowOffs, Karina is devoted to her family, her faith, and her church community, bringing the same generosity and sense of purpose to every part of her life.
